Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites and services operated by Consumer Science, LLC ("Consumer Science," "we," "us," or "our"), including our consumer brands and the services offered through them (collectively, the "Services"). By placing an order or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Consumer Science, LLC is a private company that builds and operates consumer document-processing and identity-verification services, and coordinates a network of vetted fulfillment partners. We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the FBI, the U.S. Department of State, or any other government authority. Government documents and records are issued solely by the relevant government authorities; we provide private preparation, processing, and logistics services to help you obtain them.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order.
3. Services
We provide guided intake, processing, coordination of fulfillment, and delivery for the specific service you order. The exact scope, deliverables, and timelines are described on the applicable service's order page at the time of purchase. Estimated timelines are good-faith estimates and may be affected by third parties or government processing times outside our control.
4. Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices are shown before checkout. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Some services involve government or third-party fees, which may be collected separately or as part of your order total and are identified at checkout. By submitting an order, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for the amounts shown.
5. Fulfillment partners
Certain work is carried out by vetted third-party suppliers (for example, fingerprint providers, couriers, and document specialists). We coordinate and remain your point of contact, but we are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of government agencies or unaffiliated third parties.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you submit. Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may delay processing or make a service impossible to complete. You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to misrepresent your identity.
7. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including all content, branding, and software, are owned by Consumer Science, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any government authority will issue a particular document or approve any request.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Consumer Science, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from government or third-party delays or decisions. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Consumer Science, LLC and its partners from any claims arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
